How to Contribute to Your RRSP

Here are 3 ways to make your RRSP contribution process as easy for you as possible:

  1. If you already have money in your Non-Registered Investment account, please reach out and we will do the contribution on your behalf from that account to your RRSP.

  2. You can drop off a cheque at our Oshawa Branch. Please contact Jordan Dickson to make arrangements.

  3. You can transfer money online directly to your RRSP account through your respective bank’s online services (phone application or website). Here are the steps for making an online contribution:

  • Done as a bill payment online

  • Add National Bank Financial Inc. as a payee

  • To make a regular RRSP contribution, enter your NBF account number with an S at the end (very important).

  • To make a spousal RRSP contribution, enter your NBF account number with an R at the end (again, very important).
