SilverBirch Wealth Management was founded in 2010 by Jeffrey Chisholm. Our vision was to build a wealth management team to provide unbiased advice to clients and to help them achieve the things that matter to them most, and to ultimately live fuller, richer lives. In 2018, the company welcomed a like-minded new partner, Vanessa Benedict, reinforcing our ability to deliver our shared vision of client-focused service.

Why we chose the name SilverBirch
Used by the Indigenous people of North America as the center pole in yurts and tee pees, the Birch tree is symbolic of new beginnings, of gathering, sheltering and all other representations of home.
In Celtic cultures the Birch tree symbolises growth, renewal, stability, initiation and adaptability, with it’s ability to sustain harsh conditions with casual indifference.
As a Chinese symbol, the Birch tree is honoured for its attributes of rejuvenation, communication and protection.
Ancient Siberians hailed it as sacred, calling it the ladder that spans the gap between heaven and earth.
